William: Day One

I’m FINALLY getting pictures of William up for you all to see!  This is Baby Will at one day old…wide awake after his fairly traumatic entrance into the world!  The picture above is of Will being a really good baby and posing nice for Mom… then his real personality came out!

This is “Boxer Will”:  Put em up!  I guess I would be a little defensive too if my head was recently squished…sort of like putting on a turtleneck sweater that was entirely too small, but WAY more intense.

This is “Serious Will”: Take off the hat and show them that old man hair!  We still don’t really know what color his hair is…the top seems to be blond, but the sides are a little darker.  In some lights it even has an auburn tone.  I guess the verdict is still out on that one.  It’s not so surprising though because neither Don nor I had hair when we were born.

And finally, this is “Gangster Will”: That’s what I get for choosing Eminem’s “Til I Collapse” for my birthing song!  During the two hours when my epidural actually worked, Don and I listened to a little of Eminem and a lot of the songs from the show, Glee.  So he’s either going to be a hardcore rapper or a dancing show choir boy.   Hmmmm.

We’re so glad he’s here and so far he’s been an angel baby.  He’s sleeping 4-5 hours in a row at night and is a good eater… Anne’s Dairy is open for business 24/7.  He doesn’t even flinch when Stella goes on her barking sprees!  Just wanted to share his little face with you all!
