While not necessarily dog-related, we have some exciting news coming out of Omaha, Nebraska! Our friends, Jeff Slobotski and Dusty Davidson founded a website in 2008 called Silicon Prairie News, an “Omaha-based blog and event producer dedicated to highlighting and supporting the region’s creative class.” Today they are launching their updated website!
Among major enhancements, the new site presents a cleaner look with improved navigation, delivering visitors relevant content based on their location with a new feature called City Editions.
.
Additional features include:
- Video library with more than 200 videos, searchable by subject (entrepreneur, startup company, etc.)
- Regional events calendar, which includes events outside the Omaha area
- RSS feeds for City Editions, contributors and events
- Lists of most read posts by day, week and year
- Navigation bar with quick links to News, Interviews, Features and Opinion, as well as Events, Opportunities, Videos and Directory
If you remember, Silicon Prairie News featured me and A.G. Out Loud several months ago…I posted it below
Congrats to Silicon Prairie News and thank you for bringing together innovative, creative people in the Midwest! Go check out their new site and let them know how great it is!
