This breaks my heart. I guess I have mixed feelings about using dogs in combat if this is the result. This article was especially interesting to me because my Grandpa, Floyd Harmon trained dogs for combat in World War II. I hope they get Gunter back home ASAP and make the effort to rehabilitate him.
