I’ve always put my dogs in harnesses when we go out.  I was told that this is important for little dogs because sometimes their necks are so delicate that pulling on a collar could damage their throat.  I’m always on the lookout for the perfect step-in harness (versus the ones that go around the neck).

The chihuahuas fit into harnesses much better than Stella does. Stella is a harness Houdini.  We’ve rigged up a harness/collar/two leash combo that works for now, but a regular harness that she can’t get out of would be great.  The good people at Buddy Belts sent us one to try…here is our review!
