The other night I had a serious chocolate craving…and it couldn’t be just any chocolate…no this was a “brownie/mint Oreo craving”. So at 8pm I drove myself to the store and came home with these:

The dogs were inspecting them to see if they approved. When they realized it wasn’t for them, they lost interest. I wonder if dogs get cravings? Does Leroy ever just think, “Gee I could go for a beef treat right now”? If they do crave things, it’s sad that they can’t ever really give into their cravings, they just have to wait til we feed them the next meal/treat.
Anyway…I definitely indulged. I’m not going to tell you how quickly these two craving items disappeared, but I will say that it may have been a world record. And I wonder why at almost 7 months along I look like this:

What an inspired thought. I’ve never considered if pets have cravings. Judging from their willingness to eat just about anything we put in front of them (or at least inspect) I would have never thought so.
But you they just might. A life with unindulged cravings…sad. And yet they remain in a good mood.
