This year, more than ever, I have so many things to be thankful for.  It’s amazing how easy it is to take so many things for granted and I love that we have a holiday that reminds us to reflect and be grateful.  Here are a few things I’m thankful for:

My Family:  I’m so incredibly blessed to have a supportive, loving, fantastic family.  My parents are flat out amazing and I hope I can be as good of a parent as they have been to me.  My brother, Steve is the best…I’m so proud of him and really value his friendship. He makes me laugh all the time.

Don has been such a blessing in my life. I married my best friend.  He supports my dreams, pushes me when I need to be pushed, hugs me when I’m down, and cracks me up on a daily basis.  I can’t even imagine a better partner to raise a family with. Oh…and he’s not too bad to look at either!

Having Will in our lives has been such a surreal, amazing experience.  He is my heart…I can’t wait to learn more about him as he grows.

Zoey, Leroy and Stella have also changed my life.  They sparked a passion in me that drove me to start this blog.  They cuddle with me, give me doggy kisses, and provide some serious laughs, all of which make my life more whole. I’m so thankful for my three fur kids!

Health:  I am so glad that I am healthy and so is my family.  Every time I hear of someone who has been diagnosed with cancer, has been in an accident, etc, I feel like I’ve dodged a bullet.  I am so lucky that my loved ones have been sheltered up to this point.

Friends: I have a fabulous circle of friends that just get me.

Our Basic Needs Are Met: I have a roof over my head that really feels like home.  We can put food on our table without worrying. We can pay our bills. These seem so basic, but so many people around the world don’t have these luxuries.

Jobs That I Love: Five years ago I had a job that made me miserable.  I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life and it was starting to really get me down. Now I have two jobs that I adore!  I love my work as an esthetician.  I thrive on making people happy and my clientele and coworkers have become somewhat of a second family.

This blog gives me such joy. I get to spread a message that I’m passionate about and I get to meet and interact with so many wonderful people.  I feel like I’ve really found my calling in life.  I want to let you know how much a value each and every one of you. I’m humbled that people take time out of their busy lives to read A.G. Out Loud.  I appreciate it so much.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all! What are you thankful for this year?

  2. Anne – You are truly a wonderful and amazing woman. Bob and I loved your entry and are proud to “know” you, even though we have never met.
