The Catahoula Rescue! They put their heart and soul into finding homes for Catahoula’s. They will even try to find help for other breeds. We adopted our dog Roxy from the midwest chapter of the Catahoula Rescue and they are amazing people! Volunteers drove from Illinois to Tennessee to rescue a group of pups… all for free. http://www.catahoularescue.com/

    Hi Anne!

For me it has to be the Humane Society of North Central Iowa in good ol’ FD. As you know, the shelter that they currently are running out of is woefully inadeqate. They’re running a campaign to build a new shelter that can hold more animals in a MUCH nicer environment. Anyway, their website is brand new and definitely something for people to look at. :)
