Every year I get a calendar that gives back to a dog charity. It’s something that I need anyway and I love dog photography, so it’s a bonus that dogs in need benefit from my purchase. There are so many out there to choose from, but this year I bought the Chuck Calendar from Dooce. It features the hilarious and adorable antics of Chuck and his sister Coco as captured by Heather Armstrong (the author of Dooce.com). All proceeds from the sale of this calendar are going to the Humane Society of Utah. I want to say thank you so much to Heather Armstrong. Not only does she crack me up on a daily basis through her blog, but she also cares about giving back to a cause that I’m passionate about…dogs in need.
