Last week I was complaining about The Littlest Pet Shop toys and how they send the wrong message to kids. Well here is a company that certainly sends the right message! Stuffed Adoptions makes adorable dog, cat and rabbit stuffed animals that help support various animal welfare organizations. There are several breeds to choose from…I would love to have Lily the Chihuahua I love that they each come with an adoption certificate, sending the message to kids that it’s best to adopt.
.
Here’s what Best Friends Animal Society has to say about the Stuffed Adoptions company:
.
“Stuffed Adoptions was started by a former animal shelter executive who wanted to help animal welfare organizations raise more funds. Stuffed Adoptions is a company who offers a variety of soft, cuddly and adorable stuffed dogs and cats for purchase. The stuffed pets start at only $12! The best part is that a large portion of every stuffed animal sold, goes directly to help animal welfare organizations. Each stuffed animal comes with an adoption certificate, so even if you can not adopt a real pet, you can adopt a stuffed pet and know that your purchase helped a real pet in need.
The people who work for Stuffed Adoptions are very committed in helping shelter animals everywhere. They have all personally experienced the heartache of neglect and abused pets, heart-worm positive dogs, foreclosures & puppy mill bust – all the reasons these animals end up in shelters. Therefore, they work hard to be a part of a solution. They even get to foster shelter pets at work!
Right now more then ever, thousands of cats and dogs face being destroyed in county shelters daily. Now that the economy as also taken a slide, the animal welfare community really needs the funds to help pull these animals from county shelters into rescue. Funds are needed for things like housing, feeding, medical treatments and spay & neuter cost. Stuffed Adoptions just make it that much easier for you to help!
Please consider purchasing a stuffed pet for your next birthday or holiday present. There is no bigger reward then knowing you helped make a difference.
Do you have a non-profit that helps aid neglected or homeless pets? Please check out Stuffed Adoptions link to get started raising funds today for your group. If approved, your organization can receive 25% of sales that you generate and there is no cost to your group to be a part of Stuffed Adoptions. This is truly a company that is all about helping homeless pets.”
.
The holidays are just around the corner-do you know of a little boy or girl who would love a Stuffed Adoptions dog?

Awww, what a great idea!
I love this! It’s a great idea. They are adorable. I think I’ll get my nephews one each for Christmas…they are not allowed to have real pets.
I love these! What a great concept! I feel the same way you do about Littlest Pet Shop toys and would never want to encourage my children to want a pet shop puppy or support a company that promotes buying from a pet shop. I hope these are around when I have kids old enough to enjoy them.
I also like how they have purebreds and mixed breeds and how each pet has a story and a little background info and how they came to be in need of a new home. I wish I was clever enough to have invented something like this!
