Happy 2nd Anniversary To My Dog-Loving Husband!

Today marks two years of being married to my wonderful husband, Don and eight years of being together as a couple.  Time flies when you’re having fun!  Don didn’t think he wanted to be a dog owner when we were first dating and then I came home with Zoey when we first lived together and we almost broke up because of it. My how things have changed! It was his idea to get our second dog, Leroy and then when I found Stella, he wholeheartedly agreed to bring her into the family too.  He is the best doggy daddy and that’s how I know he’ll be an amazing daddy to our son when he arrives too!

I think that when you are pregnant, you really see what kind of spouse you’ve married.  Don has been the BEST!  He was so loving and caring when I was really sick my first trimester and has really helped out with the dogs and the household chores/errands.  Most of all, he gives me hugs when I’m emotional, makes me laugh everyday, and shows me how to be a better person by the example he leads.

So thanks for the best eight years of my life, Donnie!  I’m so blessed that I have a husband who is as quirky as I am and who loves our dogs as much as I do! Thank you for always encouraging me to do something that I’m passionate about.  If it was not  for you, I don’t know if I would have had the courage to start this website.  I can’t wait to see what the next year of marriage brings!
