If you’re a dog lover, you need to look at Beantown Handmade on Etsy. I was lucky enough to have Anne, the talented woman behind Beantown Handmade, make me custom pendants using pictures of my dogs! I had her take some pictures of the process.
I LOVE them!! You can wear them around your neck or they also make great ornaments. Part of the proceeds from Beantown Handmade goes to Hearts United for Animals, a national no-kill shelter. Go check her out and tell her that A.G. Out Loud sent you!

Beautiful! What are the portraits painted on, though? My daughter-in-law got me a beautiful portrait of my departed Ripley through a crafter on etsy, and it was from a photo and fused into a glass pendant. I love it!
I know who you’re talking about and I plan on featuring her too at a later time! She paints them on the equivalent of a “shrinky dink”! Then she bakes them in the oven! Kinda fun! They are very reasonably priced too.
soooo sweeet. those beantown people are too talented. way too talented.
Those are so cute! And its great she donates to HUA, they are another amazing group. From what I’ve heard about them, they take in a lot of puppy mill survivors.
