Puppy Starting Line-up : Puppy Bowl VI : Animal Planet

I’m kind of obsessed with Jake, a chihuahua/pug mix from the Puppy Bowl! What a complete sweetie! Who else watched the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet? We watch it every year and it flat out makes me happy. The thing that makes me the happiest is that the puppies and other animals featured were found on Petfinder. Anything that highlights rescued dogs and brings attention to the importance of adoption is fantastic! And…if you were ever in doubt about finding adorable puppies through rescue, this show should debunk that myth. Click HERE for a behind the scenes video!

He is adorable! And I agree any show that promotes rescue is alright with me!
I run a pug rescue here in Omaha and we rescued a pregnaut momma from a puppymill. She just had 6 puppies last Sunday. So you can find puppies in rescue. There are so many advantages by adopting a pug puppy from us. First off we make sure they are 100% healthy before we adopt them out. And they are also very well socalized.
    Anyway OPT to ADOPT!!

Jake was also my favorite!!! I loved how he ran wild around in circles, what a cutie!

I feel the same about rescuing. It is such a wonderful thing. My Mollie is a rescue, saved from euthanized and could not be a better dog. It is so sad that so many wonderful animals are euthanized for no reason other than lack of space.

With the adoption of Mollie, it inspired me to volunteer with New Rattiude Rat Terrier Rescue. When rescuing, you can choose a dog from 6 weeks to 16 years. All ages are available and usually come spayed/neutered, UTD on shots, and microchipped as well. You definitely get more bang for your buck and saving a life!!!
