Pinups for Pitbulls

Even though I’m a small dog owner, I have a lot of love for all sizes of dogs. I’m saddened by the stereotypes of certain breeds that lead to unfair laws that hurt innocent dogs. As a trainer I know once said, you can make a golden retriever into an aggressive dog, it’s all in how you train them. Let’s blame/punish the people who are cruel to these so-called “bully breeds”, not the dogs who are the victims.

Pinups for Pittbulls is a great site that raises money to help “bully breed” rescue groups though merchandise sales, sponsorships, events, and raffles..but most notably by selling their pinup calendars. Their motto is “punish the deed, not the breed”. Love it!

How cute are these pictures?! I think it would be fun to be a pinup model! It’s open to the public, so those of you who own a pitbull, get out your red lipstick and fishnets! This is a great way to raise money for a fantastic cause. People trying to raise money for dog charities should take note. Get creative, people! There are ways to support rescue groups and shelters that are fun. Keep it up, Pinups!
