Can I tell you how much I love Bonnie Hunt? Not only is she witty, kind-hearted, and creative…but she also does great things for dogs! She’s been profiling rescue dogs up for adoption on her show and I just LOVE it!
She also is one who practices what she preaches! All of the dogs she’s had have come into her life either as strays, or through other people. Her current dog ,Charlie, was found by a homeless woman at 4-6 weeks old. The woman couldn’t take care of him, so she gave him to Bonnie’s sister, who then contacted Bonnie. Bonnie nurtured him back to health and now he’s this cutie below!

It does so much for the cause when a famous person speaks up for it. i had no idea that Hunt did this, this is great news and will always help the plight of those involved in rescue

I agree!! I love that she is using her show to help dogs find new homes. I get tears in my eyes every time she updates about the dogs that have found homes. They also are able to educate people on issues regarding homeless animals and responsible pet ownership.
