This evening we had to make a trip out to pick up supplies for Stella and came across the Three Dog Bakery Cookbook. The recipes all the looked quick and simple so we figured we would give it a shot. We opted for the “Hungry Mongrel Turkey Burgers” as a celebration dinner for welcoming Stella to her new home with us.
The ingredients were simple: ground turkey, rice, a couple egg yolks, and a handful of spices. So into the oven it went and this is what we wound up with:
Not too shabby, eh. My husband Don took a couple and then each dog was given their own burger which we cut up into a bowl.
Leroy and Zoey dug right in.
And Stella too!
What a great way to wrap up a memorable weekend!
