I’ve said before that one of the ways we can prevent animal cruelty is to teach our children how to interact properly with dogs. This is a great book that helps do just that. Plus, dogs can be scary to kids at first, so this book helps kids understand what various dog actions and reactions mean. “Don’t Lick The Dog” by Wendy Wahman is recommended for kids ages 3-6. I’m putting this on my wish list for anyone who needs a baby shower gift idea. You can’t register for it at Babies R’ Us, but that’s ok because I’d prefer people purchase it through the Best Friends Animal Society Store to help support a great cause!
